Lockdt Terms of Use

Effective: 14 October 2026

These terms apply to the Lockdt app, made by Lockin Tech Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong. By using Lockdt you agree to them. Apple's standard licence terms for App Store apps also apply.

What Lockdt does

Lockdt lets you lock one app for a set time. We call this a Promise. Lockdt uses Apple's Screen Time to block the app until the Promise ends.

Breaks and fees

You can end a block early. This is a break. Each break unlocks the app for 20 minutes, then the block returns until the Promise ends.

• On a paid Promise, each break is a one-off in-app purchase through Apple. Each break on the same Promise costs more than the last, for up to four steps, then stays at the fourth price. A new Promise starts at the first price.
• The price is shown in the app before you buy, and Apple asks you to confirm every purchase.
• On a No stakes Promise, breaks are free.
• Breaks are not offered in the last minute of a Promise.

Refunds

Purchases are handled by Apple. To ask for a refund, use Apple's Report a Problem page: reportaproblem.apple.com. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer law.

Limits of Screen Time

Lockdt relies on Apple's Screen Time. Settings on your iPhone, including turning off Screen Time access for Lockdt, can lift a block. Lockdt can't prevent this. Lockdt is a tool to help you keep your word, not a guarantee.

Age

Lockdt is not meant for children under 13.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we do, we'll update this page and the date at the top.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong.
