Lockdt Privacy Policy

Lockdt is made by Lockin Tech Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong.

The short version

We don't collect your data. Lockdt has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. The app sends nothing to us or to anyone else.

What the app keeps on your iPhone

We can't see any of this.

• Your Promises: the app you locked (as a private Apple token, not its name), your stakes, start and end times, and how many times you broke it.
• Your break history and daily scores.
• Your goal, if you set one.
• Whether you've finished setup.

What stays if you delete the app

Some small items are kept in your iPhone's Keychain, so they stay even if you delete and reinstall Lockdt:

• A random install ID made by the app. It is not based on your device or Apple ID, and it is never sent anywhere.
• The time you finished the passcode step in setup.
• A record of times Screen Time access was turned off during a Promise.

These items are not synced to iCloud Keychain and are never sent to us. The setup time can move to a new iPhone if you restore from an encrypted backup.

Backups

Your Promises, history, scores and goal are part of your normal iPhone backup (iCloud or your computer). Apple or your computer handles that backup, not us.

Screen Time

Lockdt uses Apple's Screen Time to block apps. Apple gives Lockdt a private token, not the app's name, so we can't see which app you pick or how you use it. This data never leaves your iPhone.

Purchases

Break fees are paid through Apple. We never see your card details, name or Apple ID. Each purchase carries a random ID that Lockdt makes for that Promise. It is not based on your device or Apple ID and is not linked to you. Apple's privacy policy covers how Apple handles payments. Apple gives us standard sales reports that don't identify you.

Links in the app

In Settings, How Lockdt works and Privacy Policy open our website in your browser. Support opens your mail app to support@lockdt.com. Lockdt itself sends nothing.

What we don't do

We don't run servers that receive your data. We don't use third-party code, ads, analytics, tracking or notifications. We don't sell or share data, because we don't have any.

Crash reports

If you choose "Share with App Developers" in your iPhone settings, Apple may send us crash reports and usage stats that Apple strips of personal details. You can turn this off at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.

Contacting us

If you email us, we get your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply, and we delete it when it's no longer needed or when you ask.

Our website

lockdt.com is hosted by Cloudflare, which may process your IP address to deliver and protect the site. The site sets no cookies and loads nothing from other companies.

Deleting your data

Deleting Lockdt removes your Promises, history, scores and goal from your iPhone. Copies may stay in older backups until those are replaced. The Keychain items above stay on your iPhone. Erasing your iPhone (Settings → General → Transfer or Reset iPhone → Erase All Content and Settings) removes them.

Children

Lockdt is not meant for children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
